Teaching people to worship is much more than giving them a songbook! The old English word for worship was “worth-ship.” In other words, how much is an object worth? One of the leadership’s assignments is to help the believer discover the true worth of Jesus Christ. That discovery then motivates the believer to become “a living sacrifice” which is fully devoted to the Lord and Master, Jesus Christ! In my early ministry I adopted these words for my life: “Were the whole realm of nature mine, That were a present far too small. Love so amazing so divine, Demands my soul, my life, my all.” These worship tools will help your members to understand why Jesus deserves our all.
